i got really excited about making an advent kalender to use as christmas decorations as well as get a little treat every day until christmas day.
i had 8 oz coffee cups left over from our wedding which we dont use, so what better way to recycle by making them pretty.

i opened one cup to use as a guideline and cut up some anthropologie catalogs. i love useing them for any type of project. they have pretty colors, textures and pictures.

these stickers are also left overs from our wedding. i numbered them 1-24 since christmas is celebrated on the 24th in germany. i like having the nostalgia of my childhood as i am starting my own family.

our apartment is too small for a real tree this year, so i decorated our fake topiaries that lend a little green to our apartment. i did not want to nail the kalender to the wall to avoid any blemished, so i strung them inbetween the topiaries. i punched holes in the cups and connected them with ribbon.
i would have loved to buy little gifts for the kalender, but the 8 oz cups are rather small, and i thought of this way too late. so lindt chocolates will do for this year.
